Playing a round at the Angel Fire Resort Golf Course on Sundance Rd is an incredible experience, especially if you appreciate mountain golf. At over 8,500 feet in elevation, the ball really flies, but you have to stay sharp because the mountain terrain and layout present a great challenge. The front… nine winds beautifully through the canyon, offering stunning views, while the back nine brings in some great elevation changes that require smart club selection. The fairways and greens are well-maintained, and the surrounding scenery of the Southern Rockies makes for a fantastic backdrop throughout the day. The staff at the pro shop were welcoming and got things moving efficiently at the first tee. It is a beautiful, scenic course that is a must-play for any golfer spending time in northern New Mexico. Just be sure to bring a camera for the views on the back nine!
