I couldn't recommend Elvira at Bonitas more! I walked into her shop looking for alterations and walked out with a wedding dress and a cathedral length veil for a fraction of the price that other bridal stores were offering. She took care of all my alterations and made sure I was fully happy before l…eaving with my dress. If you dont find a dress you like in the store she has lots of dresses she can order for you as well. She was wonderful from start to finish and if you are getting married or have any need for formal wear please go see what she has to offer!

We came in with a very unique request. My Dad was gravely ill in the ICU when he and his long time love decided to make it official with an ICU wedding (he’s 82)! When we first came in, I asked for something small like a first communion veil, but after showing us several that were suited for little …girls, our lovely shop owner then realized what was going on and said just a minute and came back with the perfect small, simple veil that was perfect for the occasion. She and my soon to be stepmom both had tears in their eyes, and she put the veil on her, gave her a hug and said “gratis” 💖 the tenderness and warmth that she showed us during an emotional time will never be forgotten. Thank you! P.S. My Dad defied all the odds and made it out of the ICU and is now back home, enjoying his lovely garden in his home in Taos with his new bride! An answer to a lot of prayers and generosity of spirit from all of those around us, including this lovely woman at Bonitas 🫶

The owner and staff were so helpful in finding him the style and color that best suited his style and budget. The handsome suit arrived quickly and was promptly tailored exactly to …his measurements. It was so nice that my husband decided to purchase one as well. Again, the suit arrived promptly and looked great. The pants weren’t exactly right for his proportions, and the owner had another pair on hand that was an exact match. I was also in the wedding party, and the proprietor was able to find me a classic gown that complemented my eyes and shape, and matched beautifully with the men’s suits. I would highly recommend Bonitas Bridal, not only for the beautiful formal wear, but also because of the quick and careful service, attention to detail and willingness to make things right.
