I needed a pair of corduroy slacks shorted. I took them to Jean's and requested a 25 inch inseam. Jean needed a couple of days to complete the job. I paid a very reasonable price. They were ready on time. I have found a reliable a seamstress with very competitive prices!!!

I'm very impressed by Jean and her craft. My beloved cardigan I picked up in Inis Mór, Ireland (Aran Islands), lost a button when I was photographing a snowy wedding in Northern New Mexico. This cardigan is very dear to me since it's extremely difficult to get another one just like it, and is remini…scent of many great memories. She treated it with great care, found a button to replace mine that's a perfect match, and reinforced the other four buttons, making them unwaveringly sturdy. Thanks so much to Jean. Jean was great to work with for alterations to my wedding dress! She listened, did a superb job, and even steamed my veil, which is not a service she usually offers. I had the off the shoulder sleeves taken in, bust and waist taken in, hem, and she added a bustle. Since it was a corset back, she als…o took the time to teach my mom how to lace it up properly. Hidden Gem in the North Valley! Jean did an exceptional job altering my Foil Trim Boat Neck Asymmetric Cape Jumpsuit. No luck at other alteration shops in town. I had left messages on the phone and through Facebook for a couple weeks at other alteration shops and couldn't find anyone to help me. I c…alled Jean and explained I needed an alteration done for my son's wedding that was less than a week away. She was so nice, friendly and told me to head right over!
