I recently had various passport photos taken here, so I can only comment on that portion of the business. This is the kind of independent small business that you can really appreciate. Sure, it may cost a few dollars more than going to Walgreens or some place like that (I think the difference is les…s than $10), but I guarantee you the photos from Walgreens will not be as good (you think the clerk making minimum wage cares about how they turn out or if they meet the requirements?) If you need any kind of photos made for international documents, you won't find someone who is more knowledgeable, and chances are slim that a national chain would even be able to produce photos to the correct specifications. Lozoya guarantees the photos will be accepted by the respective agency. The process was SUPER quick, efficient, and friendly. Even though it is a bit of a drive, I will not hesitate to return to Lozoya Studios in the future.

We went to Lozoya studios to get visa photos for New Zealand. These weren't trivial. New Zealand's visa website had 3 pages of instructions the photographer had to follow. Lozoya studio's owner carefully took, measured, cropped, and resolution-downsized the photos to match the requirements exactl…y. Also told us the photos were guaranteed to work. If there was a problem, let her know, and she would accommodate whatever the authorities asked for. The owner does both digital and print versions of all the common and obscure visa and passport photos required by most countries. It is an invaluable service, because you can't just go to CVS or Walmart for a lot of the specialty requirements. There were also two big pluses we did not exprct: 1) the owner was super friendly and personable and 2) the full-scale photos, which she slso gave us, were of stunning quality and good enough to frame. I suppose being primarily a family portrait studio gives one an eye for these things, but I've never had such a fantastic visa or passport photo.
