First time here and while I went for the Sunday jazz, I was nervous about gluten free options as a celiac. I was told that the caesar salad without croutons would be safe as well as their grilled chicken. I was also told they may be getting GF pasta and pizza?!? 🤞🤞🤞 It’s such a lovely and friendly venue with great events that expanding their allergen-friendly (and alcohol-free) options for us folk who need that would be even more inclusive.

This may be the first winery I've ever been to that I did a flight of dry red wines and liked all of them. The environment is nice. And again, the wine seems to be excellent.

My wife and I visited Rio Grande Winery while we were in Las Cruces for a couple of days. Beautiful venue. Very classy and chill. And the outside patio views - wow! The wines were lovely and the service was good. Fantastic place to spend a few hours to unwind and let the day melt away.

I stopped by Rio Grande Winery in Las Cruces, New Mexico and had a really nice experience. The outdoor seating area is beautiful, with a great view of the mountains behind the vineyard. It was a little windy when I visited in March, but the scenery more than made up for it. I arrived a bit late for a full tasting since they stop tastings after 4 PM, but the staff was still kind enough to let me sample four different wines. I ended up enjoying them so much that I bought three bottles to take with me—two reds and one sparkling. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Honestly, everyone I met in Las Cruces seemed that way. At one point, a local woman nearby even asked if it would bother me if she smoked. I thought that was such a polite and considerate thing to do. Between the mountain backdrop, the relaxed atmosphere, and the friendly people, it was a really pleasant stop. I’d definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

RGW is a must! Big back porch, fire pits, comfy chairs and even a covered area if you desire shade. They have great wine selections, food and live bands on the weekends. And what a beautiful view of the Organ Mountains!

We had an amazing experience at Rio Grande Winery. We checked in as a Harvest Host for the evening , and went inside to enjoy a meal. We had excellent service from Alicia ( hopefully I spelled correctly!! ) She recommended a great Tempranillo wine, a delicious burger and brisket sandwich and the perfect dessert. She was friendly and attentive. The food and wine were wonderful in such an amazing setting viewing the mountains. We even picked up a few boxes of chocolates to take home. Wish we lived nearby. We’d come again and again. Thank you again for a great evening.

Shoutout to Alycia, she treats me really really good! The pick 4 testing flight is a real deal, cost me only 15 to taste 4 different delicious wine! (You can choose your own pairing or ask them to) The view is great, very cozy, and the wines are yummy!

We dry camped here with Harvest Hosts and it was an awesome place! Live music and food truck on the weekends- a beautiful patio to enjoy the wine tasting and views of the Organ Pipe mountains, fire pits and propane heaters let you enjoy the full sunset! We liked the Spaniard Cab best👍. Definitely worth the stop and we’ll be returning! Great staff, great wine, great views 👍 (And they have pickleball courts- bring your own equipment.) Update: 4/05/25: stayed here again - even better as the restaurant was open- enjoyed a lovely smoked green chili stew and crème brûlée with our wine & beer. Morning coffee at the fire pit watching a photo shoot and chatting with the winery owner who also owns another local company that produces certified hatch green chili products - super nice guy 👍
